Oct 2011: Prof Alfonso Aragon Salamanca - Galaxy Formation and Evolution
I work primarily in extragalactic astronomy and observational cosmology. My research is focused on the question of galaxy formation and evolution , mainly from the observational point of view, but also including some modelling. My work combines detailed studies of local galaxies with observations of the galaxy population at intermediate and high redshifts.
